Instead of relying entirely on petroleum, it incorporates ethylene derived from sugarcane, a renewable agricultural resource.

As sugarcane grows, it naturally absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere through photosynthesis before being processed into bio-based raw materials.

As a result, BIO EVA has been shown to have a lower carbon footprint than conventional petroleum-based EVA, according to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies conducted by material manufacturers such as Braskem.

While this does not automatically mean that every sandal made with BIO EVA is carbon negative, it does represent an important step toward reducing dependence on fossil resources and supporting lower-carbon product design.

BIO EVA จุดเริ่มต้นของวัสดุยุคใหม่

หนึ่งในหัวใจของ SW GREEN คือการนำ BIO EVA มาใช้กับรองเท้าหลายรุ่น
