From the very beginning, kindness has been deeply felt.As soon as the Milala Handmade team arrived in Xi’an, China, we were not only greeted by warm sunshine we were warmly welcomed by smiles, open arms, and an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.Wherever we went, heartfelt greetings were received.It was as if we had been reunited with old friends, not meeting new ones. Truly, the kindness of Xi’an will always be remembered.

The Journey of Thai Art into the Chinese Market

Thai craftsmanship and cultural pride were brought across borders,from the hands of local artisans to the curious hearts of those in Xi’an. Each pair of sandals was handcrafted using traditional macramé techniques,and through every knot, a story of Thai heritage and creativity has been told.As a result, they have not simply been viewed as sandals they have been seen as Artistic Handmade Sandals, carrying identity, purpose, and artistry with every step.

ไม่ใช่แค่ตัวสินค้าเท่านั้นในวันนี้ที่พวกเราได้มายืนอยู่ที่บูธ Milala Handmade ภายในงาน Thai Spicy Market ทุกอย่างตั้งแต่เสื้อผ้าที่เราใส่ ไปจนถึงรองเท้าแตะแฮนด์เมดที่เราสวมล้วนถูกออกแบบและจัดเตรียมด้วยความตั้งใจ เพื่อ “เล่าเรื่องประเทศไทย” ให้ผู้คนที่นี่ได้สัมผัส เราอยากให้ผู้มาเยือนมองเห็นว่า“ความเป็นไทย” ไม่ได้อยู่แค่ในวัดหรือในงานเทศกาล แต่มันอยู่ในทุกดีเทลของชีวิต ตั้งแต่เสื้อผ้า เครื่องประดับ ไปจนถึงรองเท้าแตะที่ใส่เดินทุกวัน

จากประเทศไทย… ถึงหัวใจของซีอาน

ในระหว่างที่เราจัดบูธอยู่ภายในศูนย์การค้า MixC World ซีอาน เราได้พบผู้คนมากมาย ทั้งชาวจีนและนักท่องเที่ยวที่เดินเข้ามาชื่นชม ถามไถ่ ลองสวมรองเท้า และบอกกับเราว่า…“มันไม่ใช่แค่รองเท้า… แต่มันคือศิลปะที่มีชีวิต” ประโยคนี้ทำให้เรารู้ว่า ความตั้งใจของเราถูกส่งต่อออกไปได้จริง ๆ
