A business that purchases goods in large quantities to stock up often obtains the lowest price, and this pricing is commonly referred to in English as “wholesale price” or “bulk price.

Selling with a physical storefront of our own requires us to have merchandise for customers to try on before making a purchase decision. Thus, it necessitates stocking up sufficiently for sales. The quantity of stock varies depending on the size of the store. For instance, a market stall might only stock around 120 pairs to suffice for sales over a two-day weekend.

Therefore, the investment for individuals with physical storefronts and online representatives differs. Physical storefronts require investment in stocking merchandise, whereas online representatives do not have this requirement as they rely solely on images for sales.

Currently, many people operate both physical storefronts and online sales simultaneously, using the same stock of merchandise. Additionally, it’s common for individuals to engage in Original Design Manufacturing (ODM), where products are manufactured by factories but branded under their own name. They then take their own product photos and sell them both online and in their physical stores.

Therefore, the choice between selling through a physical storefront or online depends on the preferences and abilities of each individual. In our country, purchasing goods in large quantities to stock up allows us to obtain the lowest price, and this price is commonly referred to as “wholesale price” or “bulk price.”

or products like these, the factory will need to manufacture the goods specifically for us after receiving orders from us. This means we won’t receive the products immediately.

Therefore, we need to plan the quantity of orders in advance, considering the lead time for production, which typically ranges from 14 to 60 days. This depends on the quantity we order, the density of the factory’s production line at that time, and whether there is a backlog.
